About

As a former statistics professor, I wanted to start a site to help students navigate the challenging world of statistics.  My experience teaching both at a University as well as small private colleges has shown me that statistics is best learned through practice.  However, homeworks and projects can be difficult and frustrating, and often students just need a little push in the right direction.  That's why this site exists.  I am hoping that you will simply:

- Ask a question about a homework problem from your textbook, or
- Inquire about the best way to proceed in a statistics project you are working on, or
- Ask for clarification about a general statistics topic, like regression, the central limit theorem, Normal distributions, sample selection, survival analysis, or any number of topics
- Seek help involving your dissertation, either in planning data collection or analyzing data you have

There is no charge, ever, for this service.  My goal is to help students understand and succeed in their statistics classes and projects.  Keep in mind that I will not do your homework for you, nor will I help with take-home tests or anything that is against your school policy.  Think of me as a free, on-line tutor!

If you have questions or comments, please email me at info@freestathelp.com.  Thanks!
